1. When should I book my course before my certification card expires?
At least 2 weeks prior to expiration of card to allow to claim your card. You will be sent a message from ecards@heart.org wil be sent to you for claiming and printing your Digital eCARD that evening/following morning after class . Detailed process will be explained at class time.

2.What materials(books, paperwork,etc...) do I need before I attend the class?

Students are REQUIRED to have a copy of the student manual (either digital or printed)
BEFORE, DURING , and AFTER class .

Purpose is to allow students overview of course content,/reference during and after class.
​
* NOTE; Book CAN be used for reference during written test at conclusion of course

3. How long does it take to get my new card for certification/recertification?
Ecards are available that evening /following morning after class via American Heart Association Website. . Detailed directions given at beginning of class.
E-mail will be sent to you from ecards@heart.org for you to claim and print your card. You will have AHA Website access to your card for 2 years so that you may reprint or resend your CPR card at your leisure. HIGHLY RECOMMEND saving the ecard pdf to YOUR Hard Drive for quick access/reference
4.What should I wear to my BLS/CPR class? Please wear something comfortable that you are
easily able to move in. Many of students wear a pair of scrubs or jeans/shorts and a t-shirt.
Please, NO dresses or short skirts/ restrictive or distracting clothing

5.Will the courses be exciting and educational? Absolutely! Most students thoroughly enjoy our classes. We include relevant stories from over 52 years of clinical and personal experience to focus on particular topics. We use a variety of rhymes and phrases that help you remember the important components of the courses. We want you to be able to learn the material and most importantly APPLY the techniques to SAVE LIVES!
